It transmits over OcuSync (DJI publishes no version number), carries an IP65 rating and a built-in 6-axis IMU with an electronic bubble level. DJI has removed it from enterprise.dji.com — its page now lives on dji.com — while the Matrice 400 spec page still lists it as a compatible RTK station.

The D-RTK 3 is also three tools in one — base station, rover and relay. The catch is compatibility: DJI publishes no aircraft-compatibility list on either spec page, so the aircraft in your case is a check to make with DJI, not an assumption to take from a spec table. Choose DJI D-RTK 3 if...
Choose the D-RTK 3 for a new DJI RTK deployment — the extra constellation, the L-band PPP option and the L5/E6/B3I coverage all help where the sky is obstructed and fixes are hardest to hold, and the same unit doubles as a survey rover and a signal relay.
Choose DJI D-RTK 2 if...
Choose the D-RTK 2 when you already own one and it is confirmed working with your airframe, or when you need a lower-cost second base. Bear in mind DJI has removed it from its enterprise site, so plan a migration path.
