Can you create floor plans from 3D scans?

We deliver the survey-grade 3D scan data (registered point clouds in E57, RCP, LAS) that 2D floor plans are generated from. Your CAD team or drafting provider imports the point cloud into AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD to produce DWG/DXF floor plans at any scale, architectural plans, or MEP layouts. If your space is captured with Matterport, we can also provide a schematic 2D PDF floor plan — a visual representation of the layout for real-estate marketing and other non-critical use (not a dimensioned or survey-grade drawing; we take no responsibility for measurement accuracy). Point cloud accuracy matches the source scan (typically 2-5mm). Scan data turnaround is 3-5 days.
