What's the difference between Zenmuse L3 and L2?

Zenmuse L3 is DJI's latest LiDAR payload — a Matrice 400 payload — supporting up to 16 returns (at the 100 kHz and 350 kHz pulse rates) with 3 cm vertical and 4 cm horizontal accuracy (RMSE) at 120 m flight altitude, and better vegetation penetration. Zenmuse L2 supports up to 5 returns with 4 cm vertical and 5 cm horizontal accuracy at 150 m, and flies on the Matrice 300 RTK, 350 RTK and 400. L3 has improved IMU and processing for faster workflows. L2 remains excellent for projects requiring maximum point density. L3 is best for topographic mapping; L2 excels at detailed corridor surveys and construction monitoring.
