FARO Focus S 150 Terrestrial Laser Scanner

The FARO Focus S 150 was a workhorse terrestrial laser scanner trusted by AEC professionals worldwide. With up to 1 million points per second, 3D point accuracy of 2 mm at 10 metres (3.5 mm at 25 metres) and a 0.6–150 m range on white surfaces, the Focus S delivered the performance needed for industrial facility documentation, construction verification, and as-built surveys across a wide range of project types.

The integrated HDR camera and IP54 ingress protection made the Focus S versatile for both indoor and outdoor scanning environments. FARO Scene software provided streamlined registration and point cloud processing, integrating seamlessly with major CAD and BIM platforms. The scanner's proven reliability made it a staple in the scanning industry for nearly a decade.

This is a previous-generation scanner, succeeded by FARO's Focus Premium family. The Focus Premium doubles the measurement speed to 2 MPts/sec, raises color resolution to 266 MPx and adds FARO Stream for real-time scan registration in the field.
