What is FARO SCENE?

FARO SCENE is the native processing software for FARO Focus laser scanners, optimized for industrial and manufacturing environments. FARO states that SCENE is designed for all FARO scanning solutions and third-party laser scanners. The software handles registration, colorization, meshing, and export of point clouds, orthophotos and meshes — including into the Autodesk RCP/RCS point-cloud format.

SCENE's VR capabilities set it apart: the software can generate VR-ready environments for immersive facility walkthroughs. WebShare Cloud enables browser-based sharing similar to Leica TruView.

At THE FUTURE 3D, FARO SCENE handles all FARO Focus scanner workflows. The software's industrial focus makes it particularly valuable for manufacturing plant documentation and QA/QC applications.
