Will the Zenmuse L3 work with my existing DJI Matrice 300 or 350?
No — the Zenmuse L3 is M400-exclusive. It is not compatible with the M300 or M350 series. If you need long-range LiDAR with an M300/M350, look at the older Zenmuse L1 or L2 instead.

The L3 is a generational leap over the L2. L3 delivers 1535 nm long-range LiDAR up to 950 m at 10% reflectivity (vs L2 around 250–500 m), dual 100MP RGB mapping cameras (vs L2 single 20MP), and is exclusive to the M400 (L2 was compatible with M300/M350). For new corridor + power line + large-area LiDAR work, L3 is the upgrade.
Will the Zenmuse L3 work with my DJI Matrice 300 or 350?
No. The Zenmuse L3 is M400-exclusive. The L3 uses a dedicated single-gimbal connector engineered for the M400 platform and is not backward compatible.

Can I rent a Zenmuse L3 instead of buying?
We don't rent — we sell, and we run aerial LiDAR as a service. When available, the Zenmuse L3 rents for roughly $500–$750/day from US and Canadian drone-rental houses (e.g., DroneLabs). At $14,500 brand new, about 19–29 rental-days covers the purchase — after that, ownership is pure savings, and the L3 is a newly released, M400-exclusive payload. If you only need the deliverable, we can fly your project with our own M400 + L3.
I already own a DJI Matrice 400 — can I just buy the Zenmuse L3 payload by itself?
