What's the difference between DJI M4E and M4T?
Category: drones
M4E (Enterprise) and M4T (Thermal) are DIFFERENT product lines for different purposes. M4E has a MECHANICAL shutter (20MP wide camera) making it EXCELLENT for photogrammetry and survey-grade mapping—achieves 1-3cm accuracy with RTK. M4T has an ELECTRONIC shutter with 640×512 thermal sensor—designed for thermal inspection, NOT photogrammetry. Choose M4E for mapping and surveying. Choose M4T for thermal inspections, search & rescue, and solar panel analysis. Never use M4T for photogrammetric mapping.
