Leica BLK360 G2 Compact Laser Scanner
Ultra-Fast Room Capture. Professional scanning services powered by Leica technology.
About the Leica BLK360 G2
The Leica BLK360 G2 captures a full dome scan and spherical LDR image in under 20 seconds at its 50 mm @ 10 m resolution setting—making it a fast option for multi-room environments. Schools with 100+ classrooms, retail stores with countless fitting rooms, apartment complexes with dozens of units: the BLK360 handles these efficiently where larger scanners would take significantly longer.
At just 0.85 kg including its battery, the BLK360 G2 is ultra-portable. Its four 13 Mpixel calibrated cameras capture 104 Mpx per setup, delivering strong visual quality alongside the point cloud data.
Leica names the current unit simply BLK360 — the G2 label distinguishes it from the 2016 first-generation BLK360. Combined with Leica Cyclone registration software, the BLK360 G2 delivers professional results for projects where speed and visual quality are priorities.

Leica BLK360 G2 Frequently Asked Questions
When would you use BLK360 vs Trimble X12?
The BLK360 excels at multi-room environments with many small spaces (schools, retail, apartments) where sub-20-second dome scans dramatically reduce project time. For large open industrial spaces, we use the Trimble X12 for its 250m effective working range and survey-grade accuracy.
How accurate is the Leica BLK360 G2?
The BLK360 G2 delivers 4mm 3D point accuracy at 10 meters with a 0.5–45m range. This is excellent for architectural documentation, facility management, and BIM modeling up to LOD 200. For engineering-grade LOD 300+ work, consider Trimble scanners.
Can the BLK360 do thermal scanning?
No. Leica's current BLK360 spec sheet publishes no thermal camera and no thermal option—the built-in thermal panorama was a feature of the first-generation BLK360. For building-envelope and energy-audit work we deploy dedicated thermal imaging equipment instead.
