Mavic 3 Enterprise is a compact, foldable drone for single-operator deployment—ideal for inspections and small sites. Matrice drones (M350 RTK, M300 RTK) are larger platforms supporting interchangeable payloads such as the Zenmuse L2 LiDAR and P1 camera; the newer Zenmuse L3 flies on the Matrice 400 only.
Does the Mavic 3 Enterprise have RTK positioning?
Yes, with the optional RTK module. The base Mavic 3 Enterprise uses standard GPS. Adding the RTK module provides centimeter-level accuracy for survey-grade mapping without ground control points.
How much area can Mavic 3 Enterprise map in one flight?
DJI publishes a 45-minute maximum flight time in still air. Actual per-flight coverage depends on altitude, overlap settings, resolution requirements and terrain, so we size it per site rather than quoting a fixed acreage.
Is Mavic 3 Enterprise suitable for professional surveying?
Yes, with RTK module. The 4/3" CMOS sensor with mechanical shutter produces excellent photogrammetry results. For survey-grade accuracy, use RTK positioning or establish ground control points. Suitable for topographic surveys, construction monitoring, and volumetric measurements.
What is the difference between Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T?
Mavic 3E has a 20MP 4/3" wide-angle camera with a mechanical shutter, optimized for mapping. Mavic 3T swaps in a 48MP 1/2" wide camera (electronic shutter only) and adds a 640×512 thermal imager for inspections, search and rescue, and building diagnostics. Both share the same flight platform.
Can one person operate the Mavic 3 Enterprise?
